Containerised water treatment plants – most often used by municipalities dependent on their own water source, which needs to be technologically treated
Villages without a connection to the main water supply, with a sharp increase in water consumption or deteriorating quality of the water source mainly due to intensive agricultural activities. These are the most common cases of the use of containerised water treatment plants, which allow drinking water to be obtained from surface and groundwater sources. Municipalities often resort to this solution due to limited budget or space for construction, while the population of these municipalities does not usually exceed 2000.
