We planted the Václav Havel cherry tree in Ždárec

On St. Martin’s Day last year we took part in a wonderful event in Žďárec, during which the Václav Havel cherry tree was planted. This event, organized by the Nadace Partnerství and the Sázíme stromy initiative, had not only an ecological dimension but also a deep symbolic meaning.

The tree, which was lovingly planted by the owner IVO HUTIRA and his partner, becomes a reminder of our President and the defender of democracy. We believe that this action will fulfil the legacy of Václav Havel – truth and love will triumph over lies and hatred.

The sign, placed by the cherry tree, bears the important words of Václav Havel: “One should behave as one thinks everyone should behave.” This idea calls us all to responsibility and to become creators of a better future.

Nadace Partnerství has long been committed to protecting nature and supporting local communities. Their initiatives, such as Planting Trees, show how we can all contribute to the sustainability and protection of our planet.
