Bringing joy and help all year round

Helping people, foundations, associations and non-profit organizations is an integral part of HUTIRA’s philosophy. In 2024, we supported a wide range of projects in the fields of charity, culture, sports, education and ecology.

The total amount of our donations last year exceeded CZK 1,500,000, thanks in part to the generosity of our employees. At HUTIRA, we value their philanthropy and therefore every donation our employees make to a good cause is doubled by HUTIRA.

A significant amount went to Ukraine, where we helped rebuild the local infrastructure. Thanks to our donations, for example, water pipes were restored in the town of Chortkiv. Our mobile water treatment plant continues to serve in Ukraine, helping in the most affected areas.

In 2024, we also supported the Nadace Partnerství, which focuses on environmental protection. Together with this foundation, we participated in the Auction for Nature, where we contributed to the Planting the Future initiative, which aims to plant ten million trees in the Czech Republic. At this auction, we auctioned a tree that the owner of HUTIRA, Ivo Hutira, personally planted in honour of Václav Havel. “The tree we auctioned is connected to our great man, whom we all hold in our hearts,” says Ivo Hutira, owner and managing director of the company.

Supporting education is also an integral part of our charitable activities. Last year, we were able to conduct educational excursions around our campus and provided students with the opportunity to do professional practice under the guidance of our experts. In addition, we have donated our products to schools to improve practical training. We are glad that we were able to facilitate teaching at, for example, the Střední škola stavebních řemesel Brno – Bosonohy, Střední škola strojní, stavební a dopravní v Liberci, or the Střední škola polytechnická v Kyjově

We have helped both large and established organizations such as the Czech Committee for UNICEF, Člověk v tísni, Zdravotní klaun and Dobrý Anděl, as well as smaller, local initiatives such as the Jeseník Watermen’s Club, the Sports School of Ball Games, the Brodské Voluntary Fire Brigade or the OZ Bratislavská Kalvária.

Every donation has great meaning for us because we believe in the power of collective effort and its positive impact on the lives of others. We are proud to support such inspiring and meaningful projects and look forward to working together again in 2025.
