Our New Forest
Recently, many companies have been trying to present themselves as environmentally friendly. The HUTIRA BRNO Company is not an exception. We have already published some information in November 2019 news.
As you know, for 30 years we have been active in the field of gas industry. One of the reasons for this is the fact that natural gas is environmentally friendly. Natural gas represents a relatively clean energy that ensures comfort 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. Energy in natural gas can be rather easily regulated and used. Remember that gas-based heating systems produce neither harmful solid particles nor carcinogenic benzo(a)pyrene substances. Each gas supply connection reduces the annual volume of dust discharged by more than 250 kg compared to a solid fuel boiler. Using solid fuels in old non-organic boilers significantly increases health risks, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, respiratory problems, low-fertility, and pregnancy issues. It is worth noting that the worst situation cannot be seen in large cities. People in villages and suburban areas are exposed to much worse air conditions.
In addition to our activities in the gas industry, we have decided to accept the call of the Association of Owners of Municipal and Private Forests (SVOL) to join their petition for healthy and prosperous forests for future generations. The initiative outlines: “We have inherited our forests from our fathers. We know what climate change will come in 100 years. Forest owners are now trying to save this heritage and make forests more resistant to negative impacts. Forests bring benefits both to their respective owner and the entire society. As such, forests protect the precious soil, retain water, form the landscape and serve as recreation for the population”.
This statement fully complies with internal HUTIRA company code. As a result, we bought 9 000 square meter of an old forest. The forest was scheduled to be cut down and vanish. We decided to save it and restore it so that in the future it meets all the criteria for a healthy forest. We plan to start planting new trees later this year.
If you have any opportunity to fight against the climate changes in any way, join us! Protect water resources, plant new trees and support landscape development.
We at HUTIRA are looking forward to plant the trees as a teambuilding activity. However, this all must wait till the current fight against corona virus is over.
