At the end of April, the fifth annual Architecture Festival took place at the Brno Exhibition Center. On this occasion, seven more responsible companies signed a Memorandum of Long-Term Cooperation in the field of climate change adaptation. HUTIRA committed to sustainable development with its signature back in 2021.

The festival provided inspiration and information for both experts and the general public, confirming the importance of sharing experiences and cooperation in the fight against climate change. Lectures focusing on timber constructions and nature-inspired buildings attracted great interest. Experts discussed their advantages, ecological aspects, and trends in this area. There was also a panel discussion with significant women from the field of architecture and construction, sharing their experiences and visions for a modern Czech Republic.

The festival program concluded with a gala evening where the statutory city of Brno ceremoniously signed the Memorandum of Long-Term Cooperation in climate change adaptation with new partners. This initiative brings together the forces of Brno companies, universities, and organizations to actively combat climate change and build a sustainable city. HUTIRA was among the first signatories of this memorandum.

We are excited to be part of this important mission and share our experiences and know-how with other partners. Collaboration with the city of Brno and other responsible companies is key for us. We believe that Brno will become a model for other cities in the Czech Republic and abroad.
