The number of biomethane stations in the Czech Republic will grow, another one is to be added in the Mikulov region
The number of biomethane stations in the Czech Republic should increase. This is evidenced by the intention of the agricultural company Mikrosvín, which plans to operate a station in Dobré Pole in the Mikulov region on the site of a former cooperative processing agricultural waste into gas supplied to the distribution network. The project, which is now undergoing an environmental impact assessment (EIA), could be operational in two years’ time. The topic was covered by the idnes.cz portal, according to which experts predict that biomethane could replace up to fifteen percent of natural gas in the Czech Republic.
