A new loader helps at the quarry in Omice

HUTIRA – OMICE, s.r.o. bought a new machine, which will make the work of employees even more efficient. The new loader will be used in the quarry in Omice, where our company mines aggregates for construction purposes.

HUTIRA – OMICE, s.r.o. boasts a new Liebherr 566 machine. The loader weighs 25 tons, has a bucket volume of 5 m3 and a 272 horsepower engine (approx. 200 kW). It also boasts a Common Rail direct high pressure diesel injection system with exhaust gas recirculation and cooling (CEGR) and a diesel particulate filter (DPF).

It has therefore strengthened the vehicle fleet; HUTIRA – OMICE, s.r.o. already has three loaders. The new machine will bring more comfort, especially to its drivers. In addition to standard equipment such as automatic air conditioning and reversing camera, it is also equipped with stereo steering. This helps the operator to turn in full lock just by moving the steering wheel sideways; without this feature, the driver would have to turn the steering wheel several times while driving the machine.

The loader will be mainly used in the quarry to load the material supplied by HUTIRA – OMICE, s.r.o. to its clients, i.e. gravel, grit and recycled material from construction waste and backfill.
